Welcome
Teamster driver services for film production

Jeff Johnston works as a Teamster driver (Portland Local 305) in the film business. Jeff does not hold a CDL but his decades of experience driving RVs of all sizes including large motorhomes and large tow rig/trailer combinations gives him a steady hand at operating film business box trucks and trailers.
Jeff spent 18 years on staff as the Technical Editor at Trailer Life magazine and MotorHome magazine. His tasks included photographing, driving and writing road test evaluations about new RVs ranging from small tent trailers to 42-foot motorhomes. During this time he also performed a variety of maintenance and repair operations on these new RVs (complete with new-car bugs) and frequently authored technical feature stories about these repairs and other gear-related RV matters. He has the ability to chase and repair many of the technical problems that can beset RVs or RV type vehicles, such as HMU trailers, on set.
Jeff is based in Eugene, Oregon, and is available for travel as appropriate.
His work truck is a 2021 Ram 2500 rated to tow as much as 13,000 pounds.
